Ashes 2021: As the oldest rivalry is back, the fever of Ashes has gripped everyone. Apart from all the thrill and excitement on the field, banters and jokes on social media between the fans around the world have kept everyone hooked. Surprisingly, the latest ones to join the banter is the Queensland Police that came down hard on the clueless-looking England side on Day 1 of the ongoing Gabba Test in the much-anticipated Ashes series.
Earlier the toss was won by English skipper Joe Root, who chose to bat. However, the decision backfire instantly as the opener Rory Burns was dismissed on the very first ball of the game by Mitchell Starc. The visitors never really recovered from it and soon the England side was reduced to 29 for 4 after Ben Stokes, was sent by the newly-appointed skipper Pat Cummins.
What a start for Pat Cummins as Test skipper, he finishes with a five-wicket haul as England are bowled out for 147 ?

Dawid Malan, Joe Root, and no other batsmen could offer much resistance as the Australian pace attack ran all over them.
While Cameron Green picked his maiden wicket, on the other hand, Pat Cummins made a dream start to his captaincy stint as he led his side from the front with a first Ashes five-wicket haul to bundle England out for 147 runs in the first innings of the ongoing Gabba Test. Mitchell Starc and Jos Hazlewood also claimed 2 wickets each.
While the fans around the world engaged in banter were trolling the England side left, right and center, Queensland Police too joined the bandwagon and came up with a hilarious tweet. Queensland Police trolled England for their poor batting display. After a pun-intended traffic update, Queensland Police reacted to the batting collapse, writing:
“Queensland Police are launching an investigation into a group impersonating a Test batting order at the Gabba.”
