Steve Smith’s Wife Caught Him Doing Something Unusual In Hotel Room

Australia’s star cricketer Steve Smith is one of the most dedicated cricketers in the world. He is known for spending hours honing his skills to perfect his game. In fact on various occasions, Steve Smith’s teammates and friends have revealed his obsession with practicing his batting and honing his skill set.

On Sunday, Steve Smith’s wife Dani Willis, shared one such example on Instagram and left everyone in splits. In the video shared by Dani Willis, Smith can be seen shadow batting at 1 AM in the morning in his hotel room in Adelaide, where his team Australia are currently locking its horns with England in the ongoing 2nd Test match of the ongoing 2021/22 Ashes series.

Yes, you read that right. Well, Smith can be seen checking out a new bat in their Adelaide hotel room at 1am. In fact, in order to check his bat he could be seen doing some of his customary ‘shadow-batting’ in front of the TV.

Sharing the video on her Instagram story, Willis wrote: “Steve Smith checking out his new bat.” The video was later reshared by Steve Smith, who wrote: “Dani Willis caught me again.”

Meanwhile, talking about the ongoing Ashes series, the australian side is all set to take a 2-0 lead in the ongoing series after settling the Joe Root led England a huge target of 468 runs in the fourth innings. Interestingly, Smith was seen leading the team for the first time ever since the infamous 2018 Cape Town Test after which he was banned for a year from cricket by Cricket Australia (CA).
