She gave birth to four cubs for the last time in 2018, which took the number of her cubs to 29, which is a world record. Out of the total 29 cubs she gave birth to 25 survived. Because of this she earned the title of ‘supermom’.
Born in September 2005, Collarwali lived for 17 years and died of prolonged illness on January 15th. The last rites of the tigress were performed with full respect by the officials at the Pench Tiger Reserve, which attracted a huge crowd on Sunday.
Social media has been buzzing with reactions and tributes after the demise of Collarwali. Pictures from the last rites of the Collarwali have been making rounds on the internet.
