Sachin Tendulkar Posted A Hilarious Birthday Message For Vinod Kambli

Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar posted a hilarious birthday wish for his old friend and former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli, who is celebrating his 50th birthday today.

Vinod Kambli, who made his debut for the Indian cricket team during an ODI against Pakistan in Sharjah in 1991, has played 17 Tests and 104 ODIs for India, amassing 1,084 and 2,477 runs, respectively, including six centuries and 17 fifties across formats. He shares a great bond of friendship with Master Blaster.

Well, for the unversed, the friendship of Sachin Tendulkar and Vinod Kambli goes back a long way to the time they started playing together as a kid and then getting trained by the same coach — Ramakant Achrekar. Both the cricketers have gone through their share of ups and downs in this friendship, however, at the end of the day, their friendship remains as strong as it was during their childhood.

As Vinod Kambli is celebrating his birthday today, Sachin Tendulkar remembered all the childhood memories with his friend as he shared a hilarious birthday wish on Twitter. Sachin shared a then and now picture with Kambli to wish him on his 50th birthday. He wrote:

“Happy birthday Kamblya! The innumerable memories we have had both on & off the field are something I shall cherish forever. Looking forward to hear from you on how 50 feels. God bless you,”
