Aakash Chopra Gave An Epic Reply To A Fan Who Asked Him To “Stop Spreading Negativity”: The Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team made a stunning start to the ongoing 3-match ODI series by defeating West Indies in the first ODI match, taking a 1-0 lead in the series.

With the COVID-19 outbreak in the bio-bubble, a couple of fresh faces got an opportunity to represent the Indian cricket team. While Deepak Hooda made his international debut, Ishan Kishan got another opportunity to prove his worth.

Deepak Hooda, who received his India cap from modern-legend Virat Kohli, made an impressive start to his international career by playing an unbeaten knock of 26 runs off 32 balls as team India successfully chased down the target of 177 runs.

However, Deepak Hooda, who is known for his all-around skills, didn’t get an opportunity y to showcase his bowling skills. And the same irked many, including former Indian cricketer turned commentator Aakash Chopra.

Well, Aakash Chopra wasn’t too pleased with the fact that Deepak Hooda wasn’t given an opportunity to try his hand in bowling during the game. He took to his Twitter and expressed his disappointment via tweet.

In his Tweet, Aakash Chopra cited the example of Venkatesh Iyer, who was also not given the opportunity to bowl during the series against Proteas last month. He wrote:

“Venkatesh Iyer earlier. Hooda today. Kinda impossible to create all-rounders if they won’t get to bowl…Or…perhaps, selectors are picking players as all-rounders but the team management has little or no faith in their bowling abilities,”

The Tweet soon went viral and it invited mixed reactions from the fans to it. Among many, a Twitter user (@visdutta) wasn’t too pleased with Aakash Chopra’s tweet and tried to troll him by asking the ex-cricketer to “stop spreading negativity”. The Twitter user wrote:

Do you ever have anything positive to apeak ?. Today der was no need for the 6th bowler. No wonder u played only few matches. Come up. Stop spreading negativity”

Aakash Chopra was quick to notice the Tweet from the fan and he came up with an epic reply to it. He wrote:

Best time to try new options is when there’s little or no pressure. That way you prepare them for the tough assignments. You don’t throw people at the deep end on their first day at work. No wonder…let it be”
