Mumbai Indians are locking its horns against Lucknow Super Giants in the ongoing IPL 2022 game at the Brabourne Stadium. It was a day before the ongoing Mumbai Indians vs Lucknow Super Giants clash, that the Mumbai-based franchise teased an IPL debut for all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar.

It was expected that Arjun Tendulkar, son of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, could finally make his IPL debut for Mumbai Indians in the ongoing game, however, seems like the cricketer will have to wait a little more.

Arjun Tendulkar had joined Mumbai Indians as a net bowler before he was officially signed up by the franchise for Rs 20 lakh in IPL 2021 auction. In the IPL 2022 mega-auction, Arjun was roped in by Mumbai Indians for INR 30 lakh. However, the young cricketer hasn’t got a chance to play for Mumbai Indians yet and was expected to make his debut today.

Ahead of the game, Mumbai Indians also shared a picture of the young all-rounder from a training session, something which got fans wondering whether Arjun could be making his debut today. But to everyone’s dismissal, the cricketer was not picked in the playing XI of today’s match against Lucknow Super Giants.

In fact, Arjun Tendulkar was spotted sitting at the dugout with his father and batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar.
