During LSG’s first game of IPL 2022, the talented Lucknow Super Giants‘ player impressed one and all with his terrific and crucial knock of 54 runs, which consisted of 4 boundaries and 3 sixes.
The knock was special in many ways as it came down when the chips were down at the Wankhede for the Lucknow-based franchise. He became the first player to notch up a 50-plus score on IPL debut while batting at the No.6 spot or below.
As Lucknow Super Giants played their second game of IPL 2022, against Chennai Super Kings, Ayush Badoni carried on with his excellence with the bat as played yet another brilliant knock of 19 runs off 9 balls to take his team to the winning side.
Ayush Badoni along with Evin Lewis played the roles of finishers and have passed with flying colors. Both the cricketers played crucial knocks to chase down a score of over 200 runs. While Evin Lewis 55* (23) smashed two fours and a six, young Ayush Badoni 19* (9) smashed a stunning six over square-leg on one knee, and these 25-run overturned the tide.
Lucknow Super Giants have finally managed to bag their first win in the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League.
