IPL 2022: Rajasthan Royals Trolled Rohit Sharma’s Captaincy

Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians registered their second defeat of the IPL 2022 as they lost the game to Rajasthan Royals last night at the DY Patil stadium in Pune. All thanks to Jos Buttler’s carnage with the bat, Rajasthan Royals were able to post a competitive score on the board.

Jos Buttler was seen in his vintage form as he gave his side a terrific start as he smashed the MI bowlers to all the corners of the ground, especially Basil Thampi.

Well, after Buttler made a steady start, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit introduced Basil Thampi in the fourth over, right after Jasprit Bumrah sent RR opener Yashasvi Jaiswal packing. Basil’s first ball to Buttler was a dot, however, what happened next was just too hard to believe. Buttler’s innings exploded to life as he teed off in the next five balls.

Buttler smashed a boundary first followed by two sixes. He then struck another boundary, before finishing the over off with a six. Buttler continued with his fine form and completed his second IPL century.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals on Twitter trolled Mumbai Indians hilariously and left everyone in splits. Well, what happened was after Basil was introduced by Rohit Sharma in the fourth over, Mumbai Indians took to Twitter to announce the same. MI wrote:

Thampi is introduced by RO?”

However, after Buttler smashed Thampi to all the corners of the game, Rajasthan Royals took this as an opportunity to troll Mumbai Indians and their captain. RR via their official Twitter handle shared a hilarious meme from the movie ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’.
