IPL 2022: Delhi Capitals Trolled Umran Malik During The Match

IPL 2022‘s fastest bowler Umran Malik continued to raise the heat in the ongoing season as he broke his own record twice on Thursday during the SunRisers Hyderabad vs Delhi Capitals game at the Brabourne Stadium.

Umran Malik has become India’s new fast bowling sensation, as he has been consistently bowling above the speed of 100mph in the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League.

On Thursday, he broke yet another record in IPL by clocking 157 KMPH delivery against Delhi Capitals. He broke his own record of 154.8KMPH and 156KMPH recorded earlier in the same game. Umran had clocked his previous quickest delivery in the last game against Chennai Super Kings when he had bowled a yorker to MS Dhoni at 154ks.

The delivery came in the fourth ball of the last over, which was smashed for a stunning boundary by Delhi Capitals’ talented Rovman Powell.

Meanwhile, the star bowler has been receiving praises from all corners. However, Delhi Capitals took a hilarious dig at the star bowler. In its tweet, DC wrote how that stunning 157kmph delivery was smashed at 200 by Rovman. DC wrote:

Talking about the Rovman, the stylish batter played a crucial knock as he smashed a stunning fifty. He scored. He remained unbeaten till the last ball and scored 67 runs off 35 balls, smashing 6 sixes and 3 fours. His knock helped the team to post a target of 207 runs for SRH. He was well supported by opener David Warner, who also played an amazing knock of 92 runs to give a flying start to the side.
