Ruturaj Gaikwad Hilariously Trolled Yuzvendra Chahal: India’s sensational bowler Yuzvendra Chahal made a stellar comeback n the third T20I against South Africa after going for a lot of runs in the first two games of the ongoing series. Chahal rattled the SA batting line-up as he picked up three wickets while conceding 20 runs in his quota of four overs to help India defeat Proteas in their chase for the first time in the series.
Chasing the target of 180 runs, South Africa folded for 131 runs in 19.1 overs at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday. Chahal picked important wickets of Rassie van der Dussen, Dwaine Pretorious and Heinrich Klaasen to help India in its 48-run win.
Besides Chahal, young opener Ruturaj Gaikwad, who was also going through a rough patch, returned back to form and smashed his maiden fifty. He played a stunning knock of 57 runs off 25 deliveries, including 7 fours and 2 sixes.
Ruturaj Gaikwad Survived A Nasty Bouncer
During his knock, in the fifth over of the game, Ruturaj smashed hit Anrich Nortje for four fours. A total of 20 runs came off his over, which saw a frustrated Anrich Nortje bowling a beautiful bouncer on Gaikwad’s body.
Ruturaj first tried to play it before deciding to duck the ball. As Ruturaj left the ball, his body fell on the surface on his back in the follow-up. Some great athleticism was displayed as Gaiwkad survived the nasty bouncer.
Gaikwad Trolled Yuzvendra Chahal
Later, after the game, Chahal questioned the opener about the same on BCCI’s ‘Chahal TV’. Responding to this, Gaikwad hilariously trolled Chahal by saying: “Thanks to our trainers as they are using our core strength beautifully… And when people like you go to gym, you keep us motivated.”

Well, the conversation didn’t end there, Chahal asked Gaikwad, “What do you mean by people like me?” The duo then laughed off the moment.
Meanwhile, talking about the series, India has managed to stay alive in the ongoing series with their 48-run win over the Proteas. India and South Africa next meet for the fourth T20I at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot on Friday.
