Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh and his wife, actress Hazel Keech, had become first-time parents earlier in the year when they announced the news on January 25. Today, June 19, on the occasion of Father’s Day, the couple finally revealed the name of their son: Orion Keech Singh.
In 2015, Yuvraj got engaged to ‘Bodyguard‘ movie actress Hazel Keech and married her in November 2016. Keech gave birth to their first child in January 2022.
Yuvraj Singh and Hazel took to social media on Sunday to announce the name of their son with a couple of heartfelt posts.
“Welcome to the world Orion Keech Singh,” Yuvraj wrote in the caption along with a heart emoji. “Mummy and Daddy love their little “puttar”. Your eyes twinkle with every smile just as your name is written amongst the stars,” he added, along with the hashtag #HappyFathersDay.

While his wife, Hazel, also shared couple of pictures on her Instagram with little Orion napping on Yuvraj’s chest in an adoring image.
“Happy first Fathers Day to you @yuvisofficial You’ve dreamt of this day since before we even met, now here you are, a burping, bottle feeding, nappy-changing, rocking-baby-to-sleep Papa with all the sleep deprivation and vomit that comes along with the giggles, smiles and joy,” she wrote in the post.
“You’re a great hands-on dad and im proud of the effort you make, always trying your best xx,” she added.
Several celebrities- including former all-rounder Irfan Pathan and Bollywood stars Bipasha Basu and Sagarika Ghatge, who is also married to another former cricketing legend, Zaheer Khan – were among those who showered their adulation on Yuvraj’s Instagram post. Stylish former England batsman Kevin Pietersen dropped a heart emoji on Yuvraj’s tweet.

The 2011 World Cup Player of the Tournament had announced his retirement from international and IPL cricket in 2019, finishing up after 40 Tests, 304 ODIs and 58 T20Is in a glittering career and as one of India’s greatest white-ball match-winner. He then turned up for the T10 league, then for the India Legends as well in the Legends tournaments.
