Virat Kohli has become more like a backbone for team India. Besides Sachin Tendulkar, there have been four more cricketers to have achieved this feat. However, Sachin Tendulkar became the fastest cricketer to have scored 12,000 runs in the ODI format of the game. Sachin achieved this feat in the ODI format of the game in 300 innings, while on the other hand, it took more than 300 innings to the rest of the four cricketers to score 12,000 ODI runs.
Now, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli is all set to break the records and top this list. Virat will achieve this feat in fewer games than Tendulkar.
So far, he has scored 11,609 runs in 233 innings at an average of 59.84 and is only 391 runs away from 12,000 runs.
