Chennai Super Kings have always been a wonderful ride for players throughout the IPL. Ambati Rayudu was the latest man to call it a day and he had an incredible ride into the twilight. What exactly does it feel to call it a day at the CSK? Well, the feelings have no name. At least the ones who did call it a day probably can tell you better.
But this story is not about what does it feel to finish your ride home in the colours of CSK. It is about who are the ones who got an opportunity to call it a day. Well, let’s just say that not a proper farewell is what we are looking at. This story is about three players who disappeared from the cricketing circuit after a season or two in the colours of CSK.
3 Players Whose Careers Ended At CSK

#1 Rahul Sharma
The lanky leggie who made a few ripples back in his days for the Pune Warriors was picked by Chennai Super Kings in 2015. He was also a part of the Delhi Daredevils back in 2014 and then caqme the season in Yellow where it all went south for the spinner. From thereon, his descent into madness started and he came to a juncture where he was on the brink of bankruptcy only for Sachin to save him. He is now a part of the Legends League though.
#2 Ronit More
The young medium fast bowler, Ronit More was supposed to be one of the rising names in the Indian cricket circuit. But once Chennai was given the axe in 2015, he completely disappeared from the circuit and people haven’t heard about him thereafter. A sad ending to what could have been a sky-high career saw another rising star fall out of the sky.
#3 Mithun Manhas
Even though he did find a place in the Gujarat Titans as an assistant coach but his cricket career was clipped mid-sky after a promising start. He was a middle-order batter and aspired to be a part of the Indian cricket team and worked hard to his goal. But once Chennai got the ban, no franchises came looking for him and that was the start of his downslide.
