3 Questions We Need to Stop Asking Virat Kohli

India’s star batsman Virat Kohli is one of the most talked-about cricketers in the world at the moment. From his batting to his Tweets, everything he does catches media’s attention and he is always trending on the social media. There’s a whole army of Virat Kohli’s supporters on the social media and they along with the media houses, make sure that Virat Kohli is never away from the limelight.

We all know that Indians are crazy about cricket and they are very “possessive” about their favorite cricketers, and Virat Kohli is arguably India’s one of the most loved cricketers, EVER!

But now, after spamming timelines and news feeds for more than 2 years, we need to stop asking the same questions again and again.

3 questions we need to stop asking Virat Kohli:

ARE YOU DATING ANUSHKA SHARMA?

From cricket matches to football stadiums, media has chased Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma everywhere. A picture of Virat and Anushka which was taken in New Zealand during India’s tour of New Zealand earlier this year, was shared so many times on Facebook and Twitter that now even Sir Geoffrey Boycott’s grandmother knows about it. Virat has officially  announced his relationship with Anushka, but now a new questions will arise and that is- “WHEN ARE YOU GETTING MARRIED, VIRAT?”

CAN YOU BREAK SACHIN TENDULKAR’S RECORDS?

If someone could provide the statistics for ‘the most asked questions’ in the world in the last two years, this question will surely be in the top 10. This question has been asked so many time that even Barack Obama knows about it. It’s just a shame that he hasn’t raised it in the White House yet. It’s true that Virat has already broken some of Sachin Tendulkar’s records, but don’t forget we are talking about a career that spanned over 24 years and that has 100 international hundreds and over 34,347 international runs. We are not saying that Kohli can’t break Sachin’s records, but please stop asking these question again and again. There’s no answer is to this question. Only time can answer this question.

ARE YOU THE NEXT CAPTAIN?

The third and the final question has already been answered by the Indian selectors, but still, this question has to be asked by the media after every defeat. Our advice to the media houses- “Relax guys, he is surely the future captain of India. It’s not his fault that he can’t kick MS Dhoni out of the team and fulfill your wish.”
