Gautam Gambhir (2 games, 172 runs)
Gautam Gambhir played only two ICC finals in his career, but he was India’s highest scorer in both those games.
Gambhir didn’t get the man of the match award on either of the two occasions, but his innings of 75 in the final of the 2007 T20 World Cup against Pakistan and his 97 in the final of the 2011 ODI World Cup against Sri Lanka were two extremely crucial innings which helped India clinch two world titles.
Virat Kohli (4 games, 160 runs)
Virat Kohli has featured for India in 4 ICC finals and India has won a couple out of them. While Gambhir and MS Dhoni were the heroes of the final of the ODI World Cup 2011, Kohli also played a crucial knock of 35 and built a valuable 3rd wicket partnership with Gambhir.
Kohli was then the highest scorer for India in the rain-curtailed final of the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013 as well where India managed to beat England.
Sourav Ganguly (3 games, 141 runs)
The former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly represented India in 3 ICC finals out of which India didn’t win any.
However, Ganguly scored a hundred in the final of the ICC knockout trophy against New Zealand in 2001 which is still fondly remembered by the Indian fans. The Kiwis, however, won that final and won the tournament as well.
Virender Sehwag (3 games, 120 runs)
Virender Sehwag was a part of the Indian team which beat Sri Lanka in the final of the ODI World Cup in 2011 however Sehwag couldn’t do much with the bat in that game.

Yuvraj, however, finished the final of the 2011 ODI World Cup for India as he remained unbeaten at the crease at the score of 21.
