5. Dwayne Smith:
Chennai Super Kings is one of the most loved teams of Indian Premier League and has proven to be one of the most entertaining ones in the finale as well.
In the year 2013, CSK suffered one of it’s four defeats in the finals against Mumbai Indians. In that match, Dwayne Smith contributed a lot to the team’s downfall, ending with 57 runs in 48 balls. His performance left the tail with too much to do.
4. Ashoka Dinda:
In the year 2013, Ashoka Dinda would have never even imagined in his worst nightmares that he will deliver a wide-off the first ball of the innings, which was later followed up with four absolute lollipops to none other than Sachin Tendulkar, who struck four consecutive boundaries.
If this wasn’t enough, he was given the ball at the end of the innings as well where Rohit Sharma hit four sixes to end the match.
3. Ishant Sharma:
In the year 2013 against Chennai Super Kings, Ishant Sharma created a new history of gaining the worst figures of IPL. He scored 66 runs in 4 overs in that match. To make it even more worst, Suresh Raina smashed 4 fours and a six in the over delivered by Ishant Sharma.
2. Steve Smith:
In the year 2017, Steve Smith, one of the best batsmen in the world right now, he replaced MS Dhoni as the captain of Pune’s team, however his performance contributed a lot in the loss of his team in the finals. At the finals he ended up scoring 51 runs in 50 balls and the team lost the match miserably.
- Shane Watson:
In the year 2016, when Royal Challengers Bangalore were playing against Sunrisers Hyderabad. We all remember the match because of Virat Kohli’s exceptional innings but we all forgot the worst overs delivered by Shane Watson in that match.
It was Shane Watson’s bowling spell which made his team lose the match. He delivered four horrifying overs, giving away 61 runs in 4 overs and going wicketless.
