MS Dhoni is one of the most popular cricketers in the world. Everyone has an opinion about the Ranchi-based cricketer. A majority of the cricket universe admires him, while some fans hate him. The members of the first group always showcase the golden records that MS Dhoni has to his name. His most-talked-about record is that he is the only captain in the world to win the ICC World Cup, ICC Champions Trophy, and ICC T20 World Cup.

However, there are a few disgraceful records to MS Dhoni’s name. Here’s a look at the five records of the Chennai Super Kings skipper that his fans would not be proud of.

Only Indian captain to lose a series against Bangladesh

India has a clinical record against Bangladesh in international cricket. However, the Bangla Tigers recorded their first major win over their neighbors in 2015 as they upset them twice to win the 3-match series 2-1.

Slowest T20I knock by an Indian batsman while remaining unbeaten

5 Records MS Dhoni And His Fans Would Like To Forget

The Indian batsmen have dominated the shortest format of the game. MS Dhoni ruled the bowlers with his big-hitting abilities, but against Australia last year, he played a knock of 29 runs from 37 balls. He remained not out till the end as India scored a meager total of 126 runs. Although he saved the team from a collapse, Dhoni earned the dubious record for the slowest inning by an Indian batsman while remaining unbeaten.

MS Dhoni has batted well in overseas conditions, but he does not have a 100 plus score in foreign conditions. Outside Asia, Dhoni has played cricket in Australia, England, Wales, Ireland, New Zealand, Scotland, South Africa, West Indies, and even Zimbabwe. However, he is yet to record a three-figures score.

Most overseas losses by an Indian captain

While fans can boast that MS Dhoni is the most excellent captain of all time, there is a statistic that they never talk about, and that is MS Dhoni has suffered the most number of losses for an Indian skipper outside India. Under Dhoni, the Indian team lost 15 Tests in overseas conditions.

Only Indian captain to lose four consecutive Test series

REVEALED: Tragic incident that led to Mahendra Singh Dhoni almost ...

Before MS Dhoni gave up his captaincy, India slipped out of the Top 5 in Test rankings. One of the key reasons behind that slip was that India suffered four consecutive Test series losses. South Africa, New Zealand, England, and Australia blanked India in the red-ball arena to earn Dhoni an embarrassing record to his name.
