In recent years, given the the box office success of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Bollywood has been a place for biopic’s of sports personalities. Mary Kom was the latest to which people reacted positively.
However, in a cricket crazy nation like India, there is still no movie on a cricketer. But the wait is now over as in the first half of 2015, Sushant Singh Rajput will be playing the role of one of the most loved cricketer in India, Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Here’s a list of 5 things that we want to see in Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s biopic:
1) Days as a Ticket Collector

Few people know that MS Dhoni was a ticket collector just about 10-12 years ago at Kharagpur Railway station in West Bengal.
Everyone will like to see how MS Dhoni managed to pull through this difficult time in his life.
2) Entering cricket, winning World Cups
He turned to cricket after completing his primary education and we would like to see his struggle to reach this position. How did he practice in challenging situations in Ranchi? And more importantly, the T20 World Cup campaign of 2007 with the youngsters, the World Cup 2011 and many more inspiring stories. It would be a joy to watch Mahendra Singh Dhoni motivating the youngsters and leading the side to win these World Cups and make India proud. We would also like to see how Mahendra Singh Dhoni supported Yuvraj Singh during his cancer struggle days.
3) Equation with seniors
It has always been assumed that Mahendra Singh Dhoni was not on the best of terms with his seniors like Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman and Virender Sehwag, and many believe that Dhoni is the reason behind their retirement.
We hope the movie covers this aspect and reveals the true picture.
4) How can a Bollywood movie be complete without love in it?
Bollywood movies are incomplete without a dose of love and romance. So it is quite expected that this movie will not miss out on the love story of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni. Having said this, we hope they won’t concentrate too much on this topic but give us fans a glimpse into this side as well.
5) The IPL scandal
MS Dhoni’s IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings has been banned. Now, the question that arises is, “Was Mahendra Singh Dhoni involved?” Well, we are sure the movie will give us a rough idea to form an opinion. Dhoni is the owner of Rhiti sports which manages Chennai Super Kings (CSK) players, a shareholder of India Cements, a company owned by N Srinivasan, so are he and N Srinivasan both involved in CSK winning so many trophies? This is something we all would love to see.
