Indian men’s cricket has witnessed a steep resurgence as a lethal bowling unit, especially after the conclusion of two successive whitewashes at home against the mighty South African giants and the aggressive Bangladesh tigers who seemed clueless facing the arguably best bowling attack at the moment.

Indian bowlers have exploited every condition and helped the team dominate the opponents in all formats. Equal contributions from spinners and pacers makes the team selection an even more difficult job. Once Jasprit Bumrah gets available for selection, the Indian attack is only going to get stronger.

Like the current attack, the future crop of Indian bowlers also looks bright and effective. Their impact on the domestic circuit cannot be ignored. The current Indian management and the senior players have already started shaping these youngsters into mature bowlers.
Following is a list of 5 uncapped bowlers who can make a huge impact on the bigger stage:

1) Kamlesh Nagarkoti

His is maybe the most predictable name in this list. After taking 9 wickets from 6 matches in India’s victorious U19 campaign, this Rajasthan based Pacer was signed by the Kolkata Knight Riders (IPL) for a whopping Rs. 3.2crores. He was later ruled out of the league owing to an injury. Kamlesh can bowl continuously at 145 kmph and induce faint swing to confuse batsmen. The 19-year-old will look forward to making a statement in the 2020 IPL.

2) Prasidh Krishna

Krishna got a place in the KKR side as a replacement for Kamlesh Nagarkoti but proved his mettle with every passing match. The Karnataka pacer not only took wickets at crucial junctures but also bowled well at the death. He claimed 14 wickets in 18 matches at a realtively high economy of 9.32 runs per over. Krishna matured with every passing match, as skipper Karthik’s faith in him increased after every successful over.

3) Shivam Mavi

Another U-19 hero like Nagarkoti, Shivam got picked by the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2018. He played 9 games and picked 5 wickets. However, numbers don’t completely justify this pacer’s talent. He can clock 140 kmph deliveries and bowl yorkers at will. The KKR coaching staff was very impressed by the youngster’s mindset and hard work.

4) Jalaj Saxena

A plethora of domestic experience makes Jalaj an all seasoned bowler. He has claimed 307 wickets in 115 first-class games at a meager economy rate of 2.77 runs per over. The 32-year-old pacer topped the wicket-takers list in the 2018-19 Ranji season but failed to make it to the Indian dressing room.
In an interview, Jalaj admitted that he still dreams to play in the blues and will do his best to achieve the same.

5) Avesh Khan

It was the West Indies tour of India when as a part of the Indian Board President XI the impressive Madhya Pradesh pacer returned with impressive figures of 4/60.
The 22-year-old was also picked by Delhi Daredevils in 2018 but failed to make his mark. He will be looking to show some persistence in the domestic circuit before making it big.
