MI won the toss and asked DC to bat first. Malinga showed his magic in the first innings as he picked up four wickets for just 16 runs which meant DC were bowled out for 100 in 18.4 overs. Jasprit Bumrah – 4/14 vs Delhi Capitals

Mumbai Indians were up against Delhi Capitals in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2020. Alzarri Joseph was making his IPL debut against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2019. MI batted first and put up a below-par total of 136/7 on the board. Joseph who was on his debut got the wicket of David Warner on the first ball of his spell. He kept on picking up wickets as he got rid of Vijay Shankar, Deepak Hooda, and Rashid Khan. At this stage, MI was ahead in the game and Joseph came back to finish off the innings as he got rid of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Siddarth Kaul.
