Not even one-third of this year has gone by and we have already seen some exciting clashes of international T20 cricket. We first saw a T20 series between Pakistan and New Zealand followed by bilateral T20 series between South Africa and India. We also witnessed the high voltage excitement in the T20 tri-series between England, New Zealand and Australia which was won by the Aussies.

Having said this, there is already a long list of spectacular batting performances in T20 internationals just at the start of this year. Leading the list of highest run-getters in T20 internationals for the year 2018 is the Kiwi batsman Martin Guptill. Martin Guptill has 410 runs from 10 games with the highest score being 105.

Following Martin Guptill on the list is his own teammate Colin Munro. Colin Munro has scored 396 runs from 9 games with his highest score being 104. Munro is followed by Glenn Maxwell who has 233 runs to his tally so far from 5 matches.

In the list of top 7 run scorers in T20 internationals, Shikhar Dhawan is 6th on the list. He has had a great time in South Africa and was in a superb touch. Dhawan scored 143 runs in 3 matches played so far in this year. The New Zealand skipper, Kane Williamson is last on the list with 143 runs from 9 matches.
