Indian skipper Virat Kohli is one of the most popular superstars of the country. However, Kohli’s stardom is not just limited to India but has a global connection with his fans across the globe. With no cricket around, Kohli still manages to be in the news, this time for some off-field reasons.

7 Pictures That Prove Mohammad Amir Has Found Virat Kohli’s ‘Vilayati’ Doppelgänger

On Friday, Pakistan speedster Mohammad Amir inquired Kohli about his lookalike while watching a Turkish TV series Dirilis Ertugrul Ghazi. Amir was left confused and soon took to Twitter in asking Kohli if he had any idea bout the character in the movie. Soon after Amir posted a tweet via his official Twitter account, the pictures of Virat’s lookalike went viral on the social media.

Here’s more about Kohli’s lookalike in the TV series

Kohli’s lookalike, Cavit Çetin Güner, who is playing a major role in the Turkish TV series, is born in Istanbul, Turkey. The Turkish-actor has acted in various movies. However, after Amir recognizing him as Kohli’s doppelganger, the actor is drawing a lot of attention in the Indian sub-continent, especially due to Kohli’s popularity in this part of the world.

Here’s a look at some of his pictures that we found on Instagram:

While majorly the actor resembles a lot with Virat Kohli, it is only due to his beard that might confuse people him as the Indian skipper. However, without the beard, the Turkish actor cannot be recognised as a lookalike to Virat Kohli.

As far as Kohli goes, he has not reacted to Amir’s post yet, and it will be interesting to see if he takes out time in replying to Amir’s query.
