Talking about the game, Mehidy had a memorable Test match as he finished with six wickets. He accounted for the likes of Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Axar Patel, and wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant to put India in a spot of bother at 74/7. However, he couldn’t take his team to an improbable win. Mehidy could have also picked the wicket of R Ashwin but Mominul Haque dropped an easy catch at forward short-leg, which eventually turned out to be costly for Bangladesh’s side as Ashwin counter-attacked with an unbeaten 42.
