Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has gone on an attack on the BCCI, asking them to send the Indian team and the Pakistanis will show them how to treat their visitors.
The talk in recent days has surrounded the “inappropriate conduct by spectators”, as said by the PCB, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad during the IND vs PAK match last Saturday.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam was booed by the 130,000-capacity crowd in the Narendra Modi Stadium when he appeared for the toss and when he came to bat. A few fans then directed Jai Shree Ram chants toward Mohammad Rizwan when he was walking back to the dressing room through a tunnel after being dismissed. Some fans also rumored that Hasan Ali was being taunted by the fans by throwing paper airplanes when he was fielding at the boundary line.
Pakistan team director Mickey Arthur went on a rant in the post-match press conference about the match feeling like a “BCCI event” and also the DJ not playing the Dil Dil Pakistan song. The PCB then lodged an official complaint with the ICC about the crowd behavior at the stadium, citing ICC’s anti-discrimination policy for international cricket.
India denied to play Asia Cup in Pakistan: Shahid Afridi

In a video that is going viral on social media over the past couple of days, former PAK captain Shahid Afridi says that BCCI should send the Indian team to Pakistan for matches, where the Pakistani fans will treat them nicely and would set an example of how to be good hosts.
Shahid Afridi also pointed out that it was the BCCI and the Indian government who didn’t want to send the Indian cricket team to Pakistan for the Asia Cup, which then had to be played in a hybrid-model in association with Sri Lanka.
“Who was denying to play Asia Cup in Pakistan? India – India didn’t want to come to Pakistan. Aap India ki team ko bhejiye to sahi, hum unhein Sar ankhon par rakhenge (You send the Indian team to Pakistan, and we will offer them the best-ever treatment,” Shahid Afridi said.
