The dismissal came as a quick redemption for Rishabh, who had just dropped a catch in the previous over. Yes, Umesh Yadav produced an edge from Mushfiqur however Pant couldn’t hold onto the catch, which threatened to be a costly blow for team India. Earlier in the day, Rishabh had produced a catch for the ages to produce team India’s first wicket and end the opening partnership of 124 runs. After Kohli dropped a sitter of Najmul Hossain, Pant showed extraordinary effort as he caught the ball on the rebound.
