For the people who didn’t know, Mayanti Langer pointed out that the dress she wore is called a Blazer Dress.
A pic of Sunil Gavaskar and Mayanti has gone viral on social media since the semi-final in which Gavaskar is wearing a blue pant while Mayanti is donning a blue blazer dress.
Many people on social media, including a renowned Sri Lankan commentator, made an unnecessary topic regarding the attire that Gavaskar and Mayanti wore for the show. Sri Lankan commentator Roshan Abeysinghe even made a distasteful comment saying it was a 2 piece that was shared by Gavaskar and Mayanti.

A day out from the World Cup 2023 final, Mayanti Langer gave a proper reply to the trollers. She educated the uneducated ones on what is a Blazer dress, and said that she could afford to wear a full suit, which she said she’d be wearing on Sunday for the final.
“So moved by your genuine concern regarding budgets. Concerns that have me tagged in innumerable posts, my family and friends being inundated by images, some altered perhaps to play down the atrocity of a Blazer dress 🫣 Fear not, we can afford a full suit for the Final,” Mayanti Langer tweeted.
