Ben Cuttings Got Trolled Badly For Acting Too Cool In A BBL Match

Sydney Sixers won match no.20 of the ongoing Big Bash League 2021-22 by defeating Sydney Thunder by 30 runs in the game that got affected by rain. A hilarious took place during the match after Sydney Thunder all-rounder Ben Cutting suffered a brain-fade moment on-field, which lead to a hilarious series of events that followed.

Well, the game was reduced only to 16 overs after a rain stoppage. The hilarious incident took place during the 16th over of the game when Thunder bowler Nathan McAndrew bowled a no-ball in the fourth delivery of the final over, which was smashed by Dan Christian for a boundary. Having awarded a free-hit in the next delivery, Christian hit the ball straight into the hands of the off-side fielder Ben Cutting.

Ben Cutting forgot that it was a free-hit, therefore, he flung the ball in the air to celebrate the catch. However, he soon realized his mistake and quickly ran towards the ball but he couldn’t stop Christian and Jordan Silk from running a double.

After completing the second run, both Silk and Christian were seen bursting into laughter, while Ben Cutting looked dejected on the same. The video of the hilarious incident has been going viral on social media and has left everyone in splits.

Meanwhile, both Sydney Sixers batters scored a total of 21 runs from the last over and helped the team to set a target of 168 runs for the Thunder to chase. Christian played a crucial knock of 41 runs off 17 balls at the strike rate of 241.17 and remained unbeaten. Silk also played a crucial role by scoring 18 runs off 22 balls.
