Senior India and Gujarat Titans pacer Mohammed Shami has made a very interesting revelation about the chat he had with Hardik Pandya and the GT management after Pandya had reacted angrily at him during IPL 2022.
Having joined Gujarat Titans in IPL 2022, Hardik Pandya was given the opportunity to lead a side for the first time in his IPL career. He was even more energetic and charged up than usual.
However, this pent-up energy and passion came out on the field in a wrong manner during an IPL 2022 match between Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad when Hardik Pandya screamed angrily at Mohammed Shami making a mistake in the field.
Fans also at that time lashed out at Hardik on social media for yelling at Shami, a senior cricketer than him.
Over 20 months after that incident, Mohammed Shami talked openly about it and what was the chat between them after that.

Mohammed Shami, who is currently injured and recovering from an ankle injury, appeared on a chat show with Gaurav Kapur. In the show, Shami recalled that incident, revealing that he told Hardik that he has huge responsibility of a captain and to make sure that the team environment doesn’t get messed up due to his actions and reactions.
“Once Hardik had reacted aggressively towards me. At that time, I had told him ‘Bhai, Bahaut badi zimmedari hai. Management bhi aaya tha mere paas. Mai bolne wala insan hu nahi. Mai kisi se matlab hai nahi. Mujhe abhi job se matlab hai. Mujhe mere kaam se matab hai. Lekin mujhe ye gande reactions, screen pe nahi chahiye. Aap kuch kaho, mai kuch kahu, fir team ke mahaul pe baat aa jati hai. Toh woh create nahi karna hai. Us din ke baad usne kuch react nahi kiya,” Shami said.
