AUS vs PAK: Babar Azam Got Trolled Brutally On Twitter For Throwing Away His Wicket In 3rd Test

It has not been a Test series against Australia to remember for Babar Azam as he has failed to reach a half-century in 5 consecutive innings. His latest dismissal, once again affected by Pat Cummins, came for 26 runs in the first innings of the third Test in Sydney.

Babar Azam had scored 77 runs in the first two Tests. He made 41 in the second innings of the 2nd Test. Today, at the SCG as well, he got off to a good-looking start, creaming four gorgeous boundaries before getting lbw by Cummins for 26 runs.

This is the third time in five innings in this series that the Australian captain dismissed Babar.

While Cummins had bowled Babar with an in-seamer in the previous Test, this time he got him lbw with a big inswinger. Cummins also laid a brilliant setup to get rid of the Pakistani talisman batter.

Setting him up, Cummins bowled plenty of balls outside the off-stump, keeping Babar in check and not giving away easy runs. After dragging him across with the channel deliveries, Cummins sent down a big inswinger that pitched outside the off-stum, but continued to come into Babar and hit him low on the pads.

While the on-field umpire gave the batter not out, Cummins took the DRS and Hawkeye showed the ball to be ‘Hitting’ the stumps on projection, thus the on-field decision of not out was overturned to out. Babar had to take the long walk back to the dressing room.

Babar Azam would be frustrated for throwing his wicket away and not making his start count at the SCG. And so were his fans.
