Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram slammed a “total douche” fan for an inappropriate comment on his wife, Shaniera Akram, on their Instagram picture.
Shaniera is an Australian social worker and she married the legendary pacer in 2013. The couple have a 9-year-old daughter, Aliya.
Wasim Akram was in Australia for commentary work during the Australia vs Pakistan Test series. A few days ago, he posted a picture of himself with his wife Shaniera.
He captioned the post: “Here’s hoping for a better year! Wishing you and your families all the love, safety and prosperity for 2024, all the best from my family to yours.”
One fan commented: “Ufff she is such a hotwife.”
Infuriated by this comment about his wife, Wasim Akram schooled this fan by calling him a “total douche” and adding that he wishes to talk with his parents about his behavior.
Akram replied: “You think that’s the appropriate thing to say ? I wish to meet your parents and tell them what have they created total douche.”
This reply from Wasim Akram has gone viral on social media:

Meanwhile, on the cricket front, Akram was not pleased with Pakistan’s decision to rest Shaheen Afridi from the third Test against Australia, in Sydney, which Pakistan lost by 8 wickets.
Wasim Akram said, “there are 5 T20is against New Zealand after this and Shaheen Afridi is the captain, but who cares for T20 cricket? I understand there’s entertainment and financial gain, but cricketers should know that Test cricket is the ultimate”. (FOX). pic.twitter.com/fMrurGdHv3

Shaheen, Pakistan’s spearhead pacer, was given a break from the Sydney Test to be fit and fresh to lead Pakistan in the T20I series in New Zealand.
Akram, though, didn’t agree with this decision from the Mohammad Hafeez-led management.
“Straight after this there are five T20s in New Zealand, and Shaheen’s the captain,” Wasim told Fox Cricket. “But T20 cricket, who cares? I understand, it’s there for entertainment and it’s there for financial gain for cricket boards, for players, but cricketers should know that Test cricket is the ultimate.”
“These guys have to understand and learn, if you want to be a great of the game or do you want to be a millionaire. You can become both but with a little more sense.”
