PAK vs ENG Final: Pakistan Legends Took A Dig At Indian Cricket Team Ahead Of World Cup Final

Pakistan cricket team has endured a dramatic campaign at the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 and Babar Azam and co. are now just one step away from lifting the prestigious trophy. However, standing in opposition is the Jos Buttler-led England cricket team, who are equally good on paper. While the Men in Green boast of a lethal bowling line-up, on the other hand, the England side showcased some exceptional batting skills as they made an absolute mockery of team India by defeating them by 10 wickets in the semi-final.

It is going to be a thrilling contest between Pakistan and England, however, former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi ruled out the possibility of Buttler and Hales doing the same against Shaheen Afridi and his fellow bowlers.

Shahid Afridi’s comments came after Jos Buttler and Alex Hales produced a sensational partnership against India and chased a total of 169 without any fuss. Speaking at a an interaction on Samaa TV, Afridi took a dig at the Indian cricket team and said that the Pakistan bowlers won’t let that happen. He said:

“England ko pata hai ki yahan par Pakistan bowlers India bowling ki tarah nahi hai. Yahan kuch na kuch karke jeetna padega. Itni aasani se walkover nahi milega,”

He added: “Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are very important. They played with a good strike-rate against New Zealand. They will enjoy batting at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.”
