IND vs ENG: Rohit Sharma’s Wife Ritika Sajdeh Posts A Hilarious Caption For Jio Cinema’s “Hero Cam”

Ritika Sajdeh, the wife of India captain Rohit Sharma, found out about the “Hero Cam” on her husband only on Day 1 of the first Test match between India and England in Hyderabad, even though Jio Cinema introduced this feature in their broadcasting earlier this month in the T20I series against Afghanistan.

Jio Cinema is the new broadcaster of India’s home matches to the Indian audience. To cater to the massive fan-following of India’s men’s cricket team captain, Rohit Sharma, the broadcaster added a new feature: Hero Cam.

In this, a specific camera is allocated only for Rohit Sharma and this camera follows every action of the Indian skipper on the field. Yes, the camera doesn’t show how the game is going but only focuses on the activities Rohit Sharma does on the field. Rohit is someone who expresses his emotions and is regularly involved in decision-making on the field. So it perhaps made sense to Jio Cinema to designate a camera only for the Indian skipper.

While this feature was launched in the home T20I series against Afghanistan earlier this month, Rohit’s wife, Ritika, learned about this on Thursday as the “Hero Cam” showed only Rohit Sharma on Day 1 of the Hyderabad Test.
