All eyes are on batting maestro Virat Kohli as the Indian cricket team looks forward to taking on the upcoming high-voltage clash against arch-rivals Pakistan. India’s T20 World Cup opener against Pakistan is scheduled to be played on Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
Ahead of the much-awaited match, a video of Virat has gone viral, where he could be seen requesting the fans to keep it low during the net practice. In the viral video, Virat Kohli can be seen requesting the local fans to don’t cheer too loudly during the practice session as it hampers his concentration.
“Yaar parctice ke time bolo mat distraction hoti hai (Please don’t shout during the practice sessions as it distracts him),” Kohli said to the fans, who were cheering for him during India’s net session.

Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team has hit the ground running. They took on Western Australia, where it had a win and a loss in practice games against a West Australian XI. Before the Indian side moved to Brisbane, they won a last-over thriller against Australia, while the second game against the Windies was washed out because of rain.
Following last year’s embarrassment in the UAE T20 World Cup 2021, the Indian cricket team has made some major changes to the composition of the team and coaching staff as Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid took over the jobs of Captain and Head Coach respectively. Rohit Sharma took over the captaincy job following Virat Kohli’s decision in 2021 to step down as captain. Rahul Dravid has replaced Ravi Shastri as head coach. Under the leadership of a new captain and the guidance of a head coach, the Indian cricket team would look forward to registering a win against Pakistan.
