Sarfaraz Khan’s Father Sends A Stern Warning To Scammers For Misusing His Name

Naushad emphasized in a video that several fake accounts are circulating on various platforms, attempting to deceive aspiring cricketers into spending money for tournament selections. He urged young cricketers to trust in their skills and effort rather than falling for scams like these.

“On my name, a lot of people have made fake accounts on Facebook and Instagram. On the pretext of getting entry into the IPL as net bowlers, or for state, academy selection, those accounts are asking kids for money.”

He added: “I request you to not believe them and trust your own hard work. I am not associated with any IPL team, and neither am I coaching anywhere. Please don’t believe them. Thank you so much!,”

Naushad was by his son Sarfaraz’s side when he debuted in the third Test against England in Rajkot. Their journey together captured the hearts of social media users, revealing the sacrifices made by their family. Sarfaraz’s younger brother Musheer is also making waves in domestic cricket, representing the Mumbai state team in the Ranji Trophy.

Since his debut, Sarfaraz has become a dependable player for the Indian team. Despite a tough outing in the 4th Test in Ranchi, he’s likely to maintain his place in the squad for the 5th Test in Dharamsala.
