Talking to Hindustan Times, Sachin Tendulkar said that whenever he has interacted with Rohit Sharma, he has observed that Rohit has a very smart cricketing brain. The Little Master also added that Rohit has a very cool head and he doesn’t panic under pressure.

“Whatever my interaction with Rohit has been, he has a very smart cricketing brain. He doesn’t panic. He is able to absorb pressure is what I saw. That is important when you are leading the side,” Sachin Tendulkar was quoted as saying in Hindustan Times.

Sachin Tendulkar emphasised on the importance of staying calm under pressure situations and said that it is very important to maintain your cool as a captain because the entire team looks up to the captain in difficult situations, on and off the field.

“There are multiple things that a captain has to take care of. If you are in a situation when the team is looking up to you, then it is important that the captain keeps his cool and does the job and that is what I have noticed in Rohit during the time we spent at Mumbai Indians,” Tendulkar added.
