In the ongoing Rajasthan Royals vs Gujarat Titans in Jaipur, the Sanju Samson-led side posted a formidable total of 196 for 3 in 20 overs. Despite losing both openers during the powerplay, Riyan Parag and Sanju Samson helped the team to post a total of 196 on the scoreboard with their stunning partnership.

Parag led the charge, securing his third half-century of IPL 2024, and maintained the onslaught until the 19th over. He played a stunning knock of 76 runs off 48 balls, laced with three fours and five sixes. Meanwhile, Samson, his partner and captain, also reached his third fifty and remained unbeaten on 68 runs off 38 balls. His knock included seven fours and two sixes.

Despite competition from players like Rishabh Pant, Ishan Kishan, and Jitesh Sharma, Samson’s sensational performances in the ongoing tournament have placed him as the top choice for the position.
