Superstar Indian cricket Rishabh Pant turned 25 on Tuesday, October 4th, and wishes for the dynamic left-hander have been pouring throughout the day from celebrities across various fields.
Born in 1997 in Haridwar, Pant has become a sensation in world cricket over the last couple of years with his exploits in Test and ODIs for India and as the captain of IPL franchise Delhi Capitals.
Pant’s most memorable feat remains the epic knocks on the last tour of Australia – 97 in the draw in Sydney and 89* in the historic Gabba victory. He later slammed hundreds in England and South Africa too and has arguably the greatest legacy in Tests for an Indian wicket-keeper. And he’s only 25!
In ODIs, Pant flourished later on, but brought up his maiden ODI ton in the series-decided early this July against England in Manchester.
Ritika Sajdeh posts an adorable photo of daughter Samaira with Pant

Of all the wishes on social media that Rishabh Pant received, the most adorable one came from Ritika Sajdeh, the wife of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma. In her Instagram story, Ritika posted a picture of Pant with Samaira, the three-year-old daughter of Rohit and Ritika.
Pant is very close to the Sharma family and is referred to as “chachu” (uncle) by Samaira. In the photo of the two, Pant can be seen smiling with Samaira who is holding a drawing she had made.
“Happiest birthday Rishabh Chachu,” Ritika wrote.

In T20Is, though, Rishabh Pant hasn’t been able to seal his spot in India’s XI, with the team management preferring Dinesh Karthik in the super-specialist role of a finisher. However, now with the injury ruling Ravindra Jadeja out of the T20 World Cup, Rishabh Pant might come in the eleven as the left-hander in the middle-order.
Rishabh Pant’s T20I numbers are mediocre- average of 23 and a strike rate of 126 after 51 innings – and do injustice to his talent.
