Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batsman Rinku Singh delivered a piece of bad news to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star Virat Kohli before the 2024 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) clash between the two sides.
Rinku, who encountered Virat on the eve of the match, disclosed that he accidentally damaged the bat gifted to him by the RCB icon. While explaining the mishap, Kohli jokingly remarked that he wasn’t inclined to replace it, given Rinku’s track record with bats.
Virat Kohli Teases Rinku Singh After He Asks For Another Bat
In their second encounter of the season, KKR and RCB were set to face off again. In their previous match, despite Kohli’s impressive 83 off 59 balls, the Knight Riders emerged victorious. At the end of that match, Kohli gave Rinku a bat, but unfortunately, Rinku ended up breaking it.

Rinku Singh: “Spinner pe toot gaya bat..” (I broke the bat (you gave) against a spinner.)
Virat Kohli: Mera bat? (My bat?)
Rinku Singh: Haa..(Yes)
Virat Kohli: Spinner pe tod diya tune? Kaha se toota? (You broke it against a spinner? Where did you break it from?)
Rinku Singh: ye fat gaya poora idhr se..(From the middle.)
Virat Kohli: Toh main kya karu bhai..(What should I do then?)
Rinku Singh: Kuch nahi mai bs bta raha tha..(I was just informing you.)
