Leading sports news portal 1xBat has announced its central sponsorship of the newly inaugurated Madhya Pradesh Premier League (MPL). The Madhya Pradesh Premier League 2024, organized by the Gwalior Division Cricket Association (GDCA) and sanctioned by the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), will run from June 15 to June 23 at the newly built Gwalior International Cricket Stadium in Shankarpur. The league features five teams: Bhopal Leopards, Gwalior Cheetahs, Jabalpur Lions, Malwa Panthers, and Rewa Jaguars, with participation from notable cricketers such as Rajat Patidar, Venkatesh Iyer, and Kuldeep Sen
“The launch of the Madhya Pradesh Premier League is a dream come true,” said the representative of MPL “The enthusiasm and support from the cricketing community have been phenomenal. With the backing of 1xBat, we are confident that MPL will become a cornerstone of domestic cricket in India.”
The tournament will follow a round-robin format, culminating in an Eliminator on June 22 and a Final on June 23. The 1xBat logo will be prominently displayed on various in-match elements such as pitch mats, coin toss mats, perimeter boards, boundary ropes, sight screens, and giant screens. Additionally, 1xBat will engage fans with giveaway contests featuring jerseys and bats signed by league players through their social media channels.
