Yuvraj Singh Drops MS Dhoni From His All Time Playing XI

Yuvraj Singh led India to the title in the World Championship of Legends with a victory against Pakistan legends in the final. India beat Pakistan by five wickets and it was memorable win for the Indian legends team.

It was a revenge win for India after Pakistan beat them comprehensively in the group stage. However, India Champions did it when it mattered and it was in the championship game of the tournament. Coming to the game, Pakistan Champions won the toss and elected to bat first.

Pakistan could manage to score 156 runs in their 20 overs. Kamran Akmal scored 24 runs off 19 balls, Shoaib Malik scored 41 runs off 36 balls, Misbah Ul Haq scored 18 runs off 15 balls before getting retired hurt and Sohail Tanveer scored 19 runs off 9 balls. Anureet Singh was the star with the ball for India by picking up 3 wickets. Vinay Kumar, Pawan Negi and Irfan Pathan picked up 1 wicket each.
In reply, India champions chased down the total in 19.1 overs. Ambati Rayudu scored 50 runs off 30 balls, Gurkeerat Singh Mann scored 34 runs off 33 balls, and Yusuf Pathan scored 30 runs off 16 balls. At the end, Yuvraj Singh and Irfan Pathan steered India to victory in the final over.

After the final, Yuvraj Singh as asked to name his all time XI. He made some astonishing picks but also made some surprising exclusions. Yuvi called Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting as his openers. He then named Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers as his number 3,4,5 respectively. Meanwhile, he excluded MS Dhoni as the wicket-keeper and picked Adam Gilchrist. He picked Andre Flintoff as his all-rounder. Yuvi’s spinners were Shane Warner and Muttiah Muralitharan. He picked Glenn McGrath and Wasim Akram as his pacers and picked himself as the 12th man.
