The shirt design of the latest jersey has a retro look and is a combination of shirts won by the side in their early 90s. The latest design is a combination of Kiwis’ black colors with vintage grey. For the unversed, grey was a prominently present color in NZ’s jerseys in the 1990s.

Soon after New Zealand unveiled their new kit, fans on social media brutally trolled the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for not being able to produce similar sort of jerseys despite being the richest cricket board.
