Watch: Virat Kohli Shuts “RCB, RCB” Chants During 2nd T20I, Asks Fans To Cheer For Team India

The Indian cricket team led by Rohit Sharma made a strong comeback in the 2nd T20I against Australia, after enduring a defeat in the series opener. With this win, team India leveled the series by 1-1 against Australia as they won the game by eight-over game by six wickets with four balls to spare at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium in Nagpur. 

Despite a long delay of two and half hours and the tough conditions following extremely heavy rain in the city for the last few days, the Nagpur crowd won everyone’s hearts with their passion for the game. The fans present at the ground remained in good voices as they waited for the game to begin.

The game was also a delight for the Royal Challengers Bangalore fans as Glenn Maxwell, Virat Kohli, and Harshal Patel, all three were present at the stadium. On spotting Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli, the Nagpur crowd instantly started to chant for his Indian Premier League team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). However, the former Indian captain was not all happy on hearing the “RCB, RCB” chants during the game and therefore, he urged the fans to cheer for Team India by pointing out on the logo on his jersey.

Talking about the 2nd T20I match in Nagpur, Kohli played a knock of 11 runs in just 6 balls as the Indian side chased down a target of 91 runs within eight overs. While he couldn’t make it big with the bat but he impressed everyone with his fielding performance as he was like a  live wire on the field and produced an exceptional bullseye run-out to dismiss Cameron Green.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma unleashed the beast inside him as he displayed his six-hitting prowess with an unbeaten 46 runs knock that came off just 20 deliveries. He was well supported by Dinesh Karthik from the other end, who gave a perfect finish to the game.
