Hanuma Vihari Trolled Himself After Going Unsold

India’s middle-order batsman Hanuma Vihari posted a sarcastic tweet after he went unsold in the IPL 2021 mini-auction and the tweet has been making rounds on the internet. Vihari, who has played 74 T20s to date and scored 1,355 runs at a strike rate of 112.35 and an average of 20.84, remained unsold during the IPL 2020 auction as well. His base price for IPL 2020 was Rs 50 lakh.

Going into the auction, Hanuma Vihari kept the base price of Rs. 1 crore however he went unsold when his name was announced for the first time. Later, he went unsold again when his name was called for one final time before the closure of the event. It was that very moment when he took to his social media and expressed his thoughts by using three words – LOL.

Vihari last played in the IPL in the 2019 edition when he plied his trade for Delhi Capitals. That season turned out to be a forgettable season for him as he played just two games and managed to score only 4 runs.

Hanuma Vihari, who was earlier the part of Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals, must have been expecting some buyers after his heroics in Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) during India’s third Test against Australia, where he played an instrumental role in India’s victory.

Meanwhile, the tweet soon went viral and was flooded with mixed reactions from the fans. While there were many who backed Vihari and asked him to stay motivated, on the other hand, there were many who trolled him for his reaction.
