From Kohli To Sehwag, Cricketers Wish Sourav Ganguly A Speedy Recovery

Legendary Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly suffered a mild cardiac arrest and was taken to the famous Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital in Kolkata. Well, on Saturday, January 02, he complained of chest pain and experienced dizziness while he was exercising in the gym. Thereafter, Ganguly was rushed to the hospital.

As per the reports, Ganguly will need to get an angioplasty done by evening. However, Dada is now said to be stable and should be able to recover at the earliest. The news of the same was confirmed by the cricket journalist Boria Majumdar, who via series of tweets gave updates about the health condition of the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

In his first tweet, he wrote, “He had a heart issue and is in Woodlands hospital. But is stable will need a procedure confirm hospital sources. Should be out of the woods in the next few hours. I wish him a speedy recovery. @SGanguly99.”

In his second tweet, he wrote, “He felt dizzy when he was in the gym and he went to Woodlands to get the Tests done. That’s when it came to light that there was a cardiac issue and the hospital has now created a 3-member board with Dr Saroj Mondal who will perform the procedure. @SGanguly99 get well soon,”

Meanwhile, social media was flooded with prayers and recovery wishes for the legendary Indian cricketer. Several cricketers – former and present, experts and fans, from all around the world took to their social media and sent their wishes for Dada. From Virat Kohli, Virender Sehwag, Michael Vaughan to many others, a number of cricketers dropped messages for Ganguly.
