Yes, you read that right. Chahal and Dhanashree tied the knot back in December 2020 and are one of the most talked about couples from the cricketing fraternity. Both Chahal and Dhanashree are popular on social media, all thanks to their content. While Dhanashree is a professional dancer and has over five million followers on Instagram, Chahal, apart from his on-field heroics, is often seen sharing hilarious videos and posts.
Talking about the latest developments, the star wife has dropped ‘Chahal’ from her surname on Instagram. Now, she is just using Dhanashree Verma as her name. This happened a day after Yuzvendra shared a cryptic IG story. He posted a picture that stated, ‘New life loading.’ Check it out:
On Thursday, a fake news report also went crazily viral on the internet, that reported that Yuzvendra and Dhanashree have filed for divorce in the Punjab court. However, clarifying the authenticity of the report, ANI’s original social media handle reported, “Please note: All three are fake accounts impersonating ANI. No such news has been flashed.”

Since there were no other details shared by the spinner, fans on social media are busy in speculating what it was all about. While some felt that Chahal could be about to welcome his first child with Dhanashree, on the other hand, there were many who felt that the couple are about to part ways with each other and are heading towards divorce.

Talking about the professional front, after being left out of the T20 World Cup squad last year, Chahal has made a terrific comeback and has become an indispensable part of the Indian squad. He recently had an amazing season with Rajasthan Royals in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League, where he picked up 27 wickets in 17 matches.
He recently represented the Men in Blue in the Caribbean in the three-match ODI series, picking up up seven wickets in three games with the best performance of four for 17. He has been rested from the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe.
