Indian opening star batsman Shikhar Dhawan has given a mouth-shutting reply to a social media troll who tried to insult him for his looks and game in recent time. Shikhar Dhawan concluded a fine limited-overs series in Australia and is heading back home.

Dhawan played an instrumental role in fetching India a 2-1 win in the T20I series. He amassed 173 runs from 5 innings in the Australian tour so far and stands to be in the top four run-getters in the ongoing tour.

During the tour, Shikhar Dhawan also achieved a new milestone as he became the third-highest run-scorer in the Indian cricket team in the shortest format of the game with only MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina ahead of him.

As the limited-overs series came to an end, Dhawan along with some of the other members of the Indian team was on their way back home. On his way back home, Shikhar Dhawan took to his social media and shared a picture of himself with his teammates Yuzvendra Chahal and Deepak Chahar. Sharing the picture, Shikhar wrote:

“Aankhein nikaal ke gotiyaan khelta hoon gotiyaan”

The post was soon flooded with amazing comments from the fans. However, an Instagram user came up with a distasteful comment on the post trying to insult his looks and gameplay. The user commented:

“Tatti Shakal… Tatti gameplay.”

The comment soon caught the attention of Shikhar Dhawan, who came up with an apt reply to the distasteful comment of the user. Shikhar wrote:

“Hanji aapke gharwale bhi yehi keh rahe they aapke baarein.”

Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan will start preparing himself for the upcoming home series against England which will kickstart in the month of February 2021.
