This Conversation Between Harsha Bhogle And Ian Bishop Is Pure Gold

This Conversation Between Harsha Bhogle And Ian Bishop Is Pure Gold: Cricket commentators have amongst the most fortunate and lucrative jobs in the world. Calling the game on air to the billions listening across the world is a deal of great privilege and expertise.

While some of them often receive regular criticism for their dull and ordinary commentary, a few others have created a huge fan following with their exceptional work with the microphone in hand.

A fan recently took to Twitter to hail three of the best in the business: West Indies’ Ian Bishop, India’s Harsha Bhogle and New Zealand’s Simon Doull.

Here is Why Harsha Bhogle Withdrew his Name from the WTC Final's Commentary Panel

This fan wrote a tweet lauding the work of these three commentators who have been a frequent appearance in the comm bo over the years and have charmed the listerneres with their elite skillset of commentating, unique voices and knowledge of the game and its players.

“I actually love listening to @irbishi on comms!! Seriously, along with @Sdoull and @bhogleharsha up there with the best in the world!!” a fan tweeted in appreciation of the three commentators.

“Thanks for tolerating me,” replied Ian Bishop cheekily with the Folded Hands emoji as a feature of thanking his co-commentators.

Thanks for tolerating me🙏🏽

Harsha Bhogle, who is renowned for his sense of humour and a melodious voice behind the mic, decided to have some fun and commented this under Bishop’s tweet:
“Hmmm….tolerating!” Bhogle tweeted.

Overwhelmed by this, Ian Bishop, who, like Ravi Shastri, gave voice to some of the most iconic moments in cricket history – such as the “Remember the Name” scream after Carlos Brathwaite’s 4 sixes against Ben Stokes to win the 2016 T20 World Cup final – wrote a funny tweet using “Sri” (a title of respect used before the name of a man in India) before Harsha Bhogle’s name.

“Sri Bhogle. Hope you’re well,” Bishop replied back.

Meanwhile, talking about Ian Bishop, the former West Indies fast bowler recently made his opinions air regarding the cricketers playing all the three formats in a jam-packed schedule which also includes the T20 leagues.

“It is unsustainable, mentally, physically and from a family-time point of view, then you have got these franchise tournaments in between. We see Mitchell Starc saying I am not playing in this tournament because he wants to prioritise international cricket,” said Bishop in an exclusive interview with IANS.

“Test players like Stokes and Holder are still there, trying to fine-tune their 50-over game, which involves a different length, mindset, and skill sets. Then, when that is done, they still have to go to practice and fine-tune their T20 cricket. So, you see how much time they are spending on the road, and the thing with Stokes is, he does everything at 100 miles per hour.”
