Bangladesh’s star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who is hailed as one of the best all-rounders going around the world, is all set to miss the ODI series against West Indies next month. The same was confirmed by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan after a board meeting in Dhaka on Wednesday.

According to ESPNcricinfo, Shakib was originally named in all three formats of the upcoming series against Windies, however, now it appears that the star all-rounder will quit the tour after the T20I series against West Indies.

Apart from this, Shakib has been making a lot of news these days for his poor behavior on-field. The 35-year-old was seen indulging in heated arguments with umpires, kicking down stumps, and also lashing out at his own teammates.

While Shakib has been making news for all the wrong reasons of late, he has done well on-field in terms of his performances. He was Bangladesh’s highest run-scorer in their last tour to the West Indies in Tests and T20Is.
