As Bangalore crossed swords with Sunrisers Hyderabad, the man who outshined everyone in the roster was a young Devdutt Padikkal.
A phenonemal young southpaw took the Hyderabad bowlers by storm and played some wondrous shots all over the park. Former Kiwi coach, Mike Hesson gave thus young lad a verbal nod and it was under Hesson’s decision that Bangalore chose Padikkal to represent them.

4. Born in Kerala, Padikkal started his cricketing career in Karnataka, picking up his cricket at the Karnataka Institute of Cricket.
5. Padikkal is also the first player to score 1000 runs across all formats of the Indian domestic season.
