As the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League – IPL 2020 is just around the corner, fans, cricket experts and cricketers are busy in discussing about the upcoming league. Recently, former New Zealand cricketer, Scott Styris took to his twitter and backed the Delhi Capitals team ahead of the IPL 2020. In his tweet, Scott predicted Delhi Capitals to end the first round on the top of the table but on the other hand, he predicted that Rajasthan Royals will end up last in the list.

However, the tweet didn’t go down well with the Rajasthan Royals franchise who decided to take a friendly dig at Scott Styris.
Rajasthan Royals via their official twitter handle responded to Scott’s stating that they are saving the tweet for now in order to prove the cricketer wrong later on. In a way, Rajasthan Royals have taken this as a challenge to not finish at the end of the table in IPL 2020. Rajasthan Royals wrote:
“Just casually saving the tweet here.”

Well, the banter didn’t end there as the tweet of Rajasthan Royals soon caught the attention of Scott Styris, who replied by clarifying that he would be happy to be proved wrong by Rajasthan Royals. Not just this, Scott Styris took a dig at Ish Sodhi, who has been appointed as the RR’s spin consultant for IPL 2020. He wrote:
“Love it! Would love nothing better than you to prove me wrong.
BUT… you’ve got my boy Ish “reetinder” Sodhi there helping you out… Can’t back you on this alone”
